A Message From Our Forum Host
This year we've all been forced to collectively alter nearly every aspect of our lives due to the social, political, economic and professional impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the September date of our Best Practices Forum event continued to approach, our account managers and marketing staff closely monitored the virus progression and stayed in regular communication with you, our clients. We are grateful for your sincere and candid feedback regarding attending this year’s event.
After careful analysis, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel this year’s forum. Plans for our 2021 Best Practices Forum are already being developed. We hope you will save the dates for Oct. 9-11, 2021, at the beautiful Ojai Valley Inn, in Ojai,California.
As many of you will remember from past forum events, we have survived an earthquake and a hurricane together. However, we feel we’ve met our match with COVID-19, and prudence is the best medicine at this time. We sincerely thank you for your registration to this year’s event, and also extend our thanks to the exceptional speakers whose knowledge, experience and generosity make the value of the Best Practices Forum second to none in the utility industry.
From all of us at Burns & McDonnell, we wish you a healthy and prosperous year, and look forward to hosting you next year in California.
Warm regards,
James R. Amato
