Summary

This webinar will provide water utilities with the latest updates on the funding opportunities found in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Legislation (BIL). Our discussion will focus on state revolving funds (SRFs) programs, as more than 80% of water-related funding will be delivered through these programs. Additionally, we'll talk about the Build America, Buy America Act and how its provisions will affect federally funded water projects. We will also explore strategies to proceed with future water infrastructure projects financed through the BIL.

Our special guest is Deirdre Finn, executive director of the Council of Infrastructure Financing Authorities (CIFA). Deirdre is actively involved in the BIL implementation at the national level, representing SRFs program managers from across the country.

Deirdre is executive director of the Council of Infrastructure Financing Authorities (CIFA), representing the Clean Water and Drinking Water and State Revolving Loan Fund (SRFs) Program, the nation's premier programs for financing water infrastructure to protect public health and the environment. Since 2007, Deirdre has worked as a management consultant and public policy advocate for environmental, educational and emergency management issues and served as deputy chief of staff for Governor Jeb Bush and in various roles at the Department of Environmental Protection.
