Update on the State of CCR and ACE Rules

Summary

The EPA is keeping coal plant operators on high alert. CCR and ELG updates are both in progress, while designated electric generating units continue facing challenges from the Affordable Clean Energy (ACE) Rule. Utilities across the country are responding to requests and anxiously awaiting the final rules to resolve lingering questions about the future of their coal facilities.

In this webinar, we will provide a status update on the rules and their impacts. We will also discuss current trends for plant modifications, ways to identify optimal baselines, prudent heat rate improvement/CO2 emissions reductions, and new CO2 emissions performance standards.
