## Training in an Immersive World

*Thursday, Aug. 19 | 1 p.m. Central*

Safety training can be long, boring and repetitive. You can increase engagement by using 3D visualization platforms like virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR). These technologies immerse trainees in the experience and help them feel more engaged by interacting with the subject matter. Boosting engagement and knowledge retention should reduce training time and ultimately decrease accidents at job sites. This webinar will explore how advanced visualization training is taking safety training to a new level in the industry.

### Charlie Cox | Burns & McDonnell

Charlie Cox is an application specialist at Burns & McDonnell. His virtual reality development work in the company’s Transmission & Distribution Group includes 3D design renderings, custom 3D VR applications, and education- and training-related VR modules. Additionally, he is an AR developer creating customized rendering applications on mobile devices.
