Modularizing the Electrical Substation

Summary

Conventional, permanent substations require significant field construction time and have limited flexibility to scale with load and generation growth, resulting in a restricted ability to quickly deploy equipment while controlling costs. Modular substations can reduce onsite construction timelines and safety risks, while shaving schedule and optimizing the engineering design for quick deployable applications such as renewable generation, data centers, cryptocurrency mining operations or fleet/transit electrification infrastructure. Modular substations are today’s solution for connecting with the electrical grid.
