MU Health Care Children's Hospital and Birthing Center

Further enhancing its world-class patient care experience, University of Missouri Health Care (MU Health Care) is working with Burns & McDonnell to plan and design the new, Children’s Hospital Facility on its main hospital campus. The addition will make the campus a centralized hub, improving operational efficiencies, bringing together critical services for women and children, and featuring state-of-the-art amenities and technology.

Further enhancing its patient care experience, University of Missouri Health Care (MU Health Care) is working with Burns & McDonnell to plan and design the new Children’s Hospital and Birthing Center on MU Health Care's University Hospital campus. The addition will create a centralized hospital campus in Columbia, improving operational efficiencies, bringing together critical services for women and children, and featuring state-of-the-art amenities and technology.

The 323,400-square-foot multi-specialty hospital addition will include 150-190 beds and it will be adjacent to the existing Patient Care Tower.
