Tuesday and Wednesday

9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Over the course of three weeks, students will complete 40 hours of STEM shadowing and hands-on experience. The program allows students to engage with a variety of engineers and other STEM professionals to gain a well-rounded view of engineering consulting. Employees from multiple disciplines will share their work and experiences and facilitate hands-on activities that demonstrate principles in their fields.

Each student will create a resume and an end-of-program presentation highlighting key takeaways. Presentations will be shared on the final day of the program with college recruiters, Burns & McDonnell employee-owners and family members.

Participating students will be selected based on their applications.

AGENDA

The program will take place Tuesday and Wednesday each week from June 9 to June 24 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with the exception of the first and last day, which will conclude at 4 p.m., at the Burns & McDonnell office in Englewood. Students will be asked to bring their own lunch.
