Design-build services for the customer’s new 12.5-acre, $40 million headquarters and operations center. 125,000 square feet of space, including advanced manufacturing and production spaces, 3D printing areas, machine shops, research and development laboratories, clean rooms, and large-scale spacecraft assembly areas. Intuitive Machines holds several NASA contracts and has a goal of being the first private company in history to land on the moon.

Design for 50,000-square feet of aerospace manufacturing/process space, meeting high-tolerance requirements for temperature, humidity and exhaust. Design also included conference rooms, break room, IT/data, restrooms/locker and office workspace.

Full-service design-build solutions in support of new headquarters building for Boom Supersonic’s rapidly growing team. Burns & McDonnell provided conceptual floor plans and high-level assessments on several large commercial office spaces, including the vision and execution of the lobby, all-hands space, executive wing and more.

To boost manufacturing production and increase efficiency while providing a new, refreshened environment for employees, Burns & McDonnell provided full planning, architectural and engineering design services within the customer’s main production building. The upgrades will assist crewed module mission that ranged from ICD705 secure space to office spaces.
