To make way for the innovative office campus, our crews imploded a 10-story, 162,000-square-foot building in January 2017, the first implosion in Overland Park, Kansas, history. The architectural, high-quality design focused on smart and sophisticated spaces, coupled with a user-friendly urban environment with amenities in walking distance, including a 6,000-square-foot cafe with a four-station serving line and pizza oven, 2,000-square-foot coffee bar, and indoor and outdoor dining areas. Two mid-rise office buildings opened in July 2018 to accommodate Creative Planning and HCA Midwest.
In 2020, Creative Planning, Van Trust and Burns & McDonnell began designing and constructing the third and final building on the campus. It will feature 108,000 square feet of new Class A office space as well as a 128,047-square-foot parking garage. Upon completion, the campus will boast an impressive 14 acres with 325,000 square feet of office space, a 150-car parking deck and a garage for over 350 cars.
